Each member of the Suzuki Royal Oak faculty is passionate about music and education. Our teachers maintain a high standard of education and qualification with each holding at minimum a Bachelors degree and extensive Suzuki training. They are registered members of the Suzuki Association of the Americas and are committed to continuing education in their field. When you observe our teachers, you will quickly sense their love of music and dedication to Dr. Suzuki’s principle that Every Child Can.

Mark Mutter
Executive Director / Violin Instructor
Mr. Mutter oversees the artistic direction of the institute’s 10 teachers with over 150 students. He has been a clinician at Workshops and Institutes throughout the U.S. and Asia. Mark has led the Suzuki Royal Oak Tour Group on concert tours throughout Europe and Canada. He is presently on the staff of the Wu Family Academy, the Detroit Symphony’s youth orchestra program, conducting the Concert Orchestra and Pizzicato String Ensemble. Learn more…
